For the tenth fragrance in our Eau de Parfum collection, we decided to cross the Mediterranean Sea and reach the Island of Salina, a piece of land from Trinacria, located in the Aeolian archipelago and surrounded by a sapphire blue sea! This Mediterranean pearl is the ideal setting for the creation of a fragrance that smells of sea, sun, sand, salt on the skin and… Freedom.
Seashells, starfish, hot sand and salinity replace the usual fragrances of perfumery. The olfactory pyramid of Salina is adorned with reflections of seawater and sunny nuances. Salina is sparkling and aquatic, but also warm; salty and sweet at the same time; light and enveloping. Following the evolution of Salina is like deciding to take a walk on a deserted beach, even before the sun sets on the horizon. With Salina, the sense of smell acquires powers that usually belong to sight, touch and taste. This fragrance is a complete sensory experience that evokes what the mind cannot imagine: the taste of the sea, the green of the riparian forest and coastal vegetation; the dazzling shine of the sun reflecting on the water; the childish play of footprints in the sand, erased by the waves, and the warmth of the sun on the skin.
